Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Serengeti National Park
On the first day of your safari, you will be picked up from the airport or your hotel of stay by a guide or driver from Fairend. You will be briefed about the safari and then en route to Serengeti National Park. The journey will take about 5 hours to get to the park, upon arrival you will be transferred to your lodge. Check-in, refresh, have a meal, and have some rest. In the evening you will head out for an evening game drive in the vast plains of Serengeti. Look out for animals like wildebeests, elephants, zebras, and many more. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-day safari in Serengeti
After breakfast, you will head out for a full-day safari as you explore the Serengeti plains. This park has been featured in documentaries and great movies including The Lion King, it is popularly known for the great annual wildebeest migration. All the Africa’s Big 5 can be found within Serengeti National Park. You will have a packed lunch which will be enjoyed on a picnic. After enjoying the sights and sounds the park has to offer, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head out to enjoy another game drive as you head to the airstrip for your transfer to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will have lunch and rest. Later in the evening, you will head out for an evening walk as you explore the historical features of Zanzibar. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Stone town and spice farm tour
You will have breakfast and head out for the tour. You will first visit Stone Town which is well known for its architectural and historical structures. You will be able to ancient building with huge windows and doors. A tour to spice farms is amazing to experience, you get to see where various spices we use are grown from. You may taste and buy some if you wish. Lunch will be got from a restaurant within. After enjoying the tour, you shall return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Relaxation at the beach
On the fifth day of your safari, you will have the whole day to enjoy the white and beaches. You will play various water sports like kayaking, swimming, boat rides and many more. If you are not interested in those you may choose to read a book as you sip on a glass of wine or a cold beer. Lunch and dinner will be served at your hotel.
Day 6: Departure
This will be your last day of your safari, you will check out of the hotel for a flight out of Zanzibar. You will either be taken to catch your outbound flight or to a hotel depending on your schedule.
