Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

One the first day of your safari your guide or driver will pick you from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel and transfer to Kibale National park which is the primate capital of the world. It is home to 5000 chimpanzees and other primates like white and black colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and more. You will have gorgeous views of the rift valley, Lake Albert and the sugar cane plantations in Kyenjojo on your journey. Upon arrival check in your hotel and relax

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale forest

After breakfast you will head to the park headquarters where you will be given guidelines to follow. Kibale forest is a 766 square kilometer forest located in western Uganda where you will be able to track chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will also be able to see other primates like red tailed monkeys, black and white Columbus monkeys, butterflies. The guide will help you to locate the chimps and you will witness how they live their day to day lives as they feed, play and communicate to one another. After chimp tracking, you will have you lunch and then proceed to Bigodi wetland for a nature walk. After a nature walk transfer back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day three takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will be able to have magnificent views of Crater lakes, Mountains like Rwenzori and other features.  Upon on arrival in the park, you will have a small game drive as we head to the lodge where you will have lunch and a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. During the boat cruise you will be able to see animals like elephants, crocodiles, elephants and birds. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After morning breakfast, you will embark on a morning game drive on the savanna plains where you will have amazing encounters with the amazing wildlife species found Queen Elizabeth national par including lions, hyenas, leopards, buffalo, elephants, hippos, and plenty of elephants.  You will later return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation and later do an evening game drive which gives you an opportunity to spot the wildlife missed on the previous game drive. Relax and enjoy the sun set over the mountain ranges.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early morning breakfast, check out and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest. This journey takes us through the Kigezi highlands with astonishing scenery of terraced hills. Upon arrival head to the lodge for lunch and relax.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

 Gorilla trekking is done at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest which is home to more than half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the whole world. Bwindi is located in south western Uganda in Virunga ranges, there are 21 habituated gorilla families which can be trekked by visitors.  Trekking begins with a briefing at the park headquarters where you will be given guidelines to follow, you will be accompanied by an experience guide who  will help you allocate the gorillas, you will spend an hour observing them feed, play and groom each other.  You will be able to see birds, insects and other animals while trekking. You will later return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

The journey to Lake Mburo National Park is full of beautiful landscapes, plantations, and farms. You will have an opportunity to visit a culture Museum which exhibits the life of the native people of the area. Enjoy a relaxing meal at Igongo cultural center before proceeding to Lake Mburo national park where you will check in your hotel, relax and have an overnight stay.  

Day 8: Morning nature walk and transfer to Kampala / Entebbe

On the last day of your safari you will have a morning nature walk before heading back to Kampala, you will have close encounters with a wide range of wild species like impalaa, zebras, giraffes, warthogs and topi among others. This nature walk is led by an armed ranger who guides you to the part of the park where to find these species. This safari activity lasts up to 3 hours after which you will embark on the journey back to the city. You will have a stopover at the equator where you will have lunch as well as take photos at the equator monument. Proceed to Kampala or Entebbe airport.
